How to format a SQL query
Select the dialect of your database before pasting a query. The formatter recognizes clauses and lays out selections, joins and conditions across multiple lines. Adjust keyword case and indentation to match your team’s conventions. No database is contacted and no query is executed.
Which SQL dialects are supported?
Standard SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server and BigQuery are available. Database-specific syntax requires the matching dialect.
Can I format stored procedures?
Stored procedures are not supported. This tool formats queries; it does not check table existence or validate business logic.
