How to validate and format JSON

What is the difference between formatting and validation?
Validation checks the syntax of a JSON document. Formatting organizes its whitespace. Devkit validates before formatting; it does not validate against a JSON Schema.
Are large numbers preserved?
Yes. Large integers, precise decimals and exponent notation are preserved without rounding during formatting. Duplicate object keys are reported as an error.
